PR strategy unveils brand of Breast Center of Acadiana
CHALLENGE:
Dr. Gary Mathews and his team built and established the Breast Center of Acadiana, which is dedicated to providing women with the highest level of breast care. In addition to establishing the brand, materials and web strategies, BBR created a strategic public relations plan to generate awareness of the center’s opening.
STRATEGY:
Pre-event public relations placement in local media made physicians and the general public aware of the grand opening. Creating and implementing the grand opening press event and ribbon cutting, BBR further established the Breast Center’s brand in Acadiana.
POSITIVE OUTCOME:
The event and public relations strategies generated local and niche media coverage in both broadcast and print materials. A spike in referrals and a full schedule for the Breast Center in its initial opening months was attributed to local coverage from two of the three television stations as well as pre-event media coverage.
