Award-winning Designer Joins BBR Creative
Burt Durand Hired as Graphic Artist with Lafayette Advertising Firm
In late summer, BBR Creative expanded its team roster with the hire of Burt Durand, a talented graphic designer with more than four years of agency experience. Burt will serve as the newest addition to BBR’s award-winning creative team and will provide creative brainpower to the
agency’s clients.
“Burt’s portfolio of work made him a perfect fit for our organization,” says BBR Creative Director and Partner Cathi Pavy. “As our firm grows, we are excited to hire exceptionally talented young people like Burt.”
Durand, a Summa Cum Laude graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, earned his Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, was involved in the Student American Advertising Federation (AAF) and was a member of the student chapter of AIGA. Burt’s work earned him a number of awards including a National Silver ADDY, a Certificate of Design excellence from AIGA for student work as well as an Honorary Hoffman Award at the 2005 Creative Summit for a handdrawn animation.
