BBR opens office space, celebrates
impact on cultural economy
BBR officially celebrated the grand opening of its new office building on Rue Beauregard today with a reception, ribbon cutting and gallery showcase for local artist Francis Pavy. In attendance were staff, friends and clients of the Lafayette agency, which specializes in branding and integrated marketing. The event served as a symbol of the local artists’ ability to impact Louisiana’s Cultural Economy by serving clients in a creative capacity on local, regional and national levels.
The firm, currently in its 12th year, began as a creative graphic design company created by three graphic designers and business partners, Cathi Pavy, Cherie Hebert and Sara Ashy. The “Blonde, Brunette and Redhead” expanded their staff to 15, which currently serves more than 100 clients as a full-service advertising firm that offers media buying, public relations and interactive services.
“The BBR brand has stayed true through our growth,” says Hebert. “Although our brand has remained consistent, we have grown as an agency. In order to house these services and new employees and to serve our growing client list, we found the need to create a home of our own. And today, it is with great pride that BBR invites you to join us in this next step of our agency.”
The office has a truly creative and modern feel, with its simple linear furniture designs and individual offices accented with personal touches. Throughout hangs the artwork of local artist Francis Pavy, who commissioned some pieces specifically for the office’s walls. The grand opening also acted as a showcase for the artist.
Louisiana’s vibrant cultural economy is built largely on professional artists and creatives such as those at BBR. The expansion of the small, women-owned business serves as a testament to the foresight of the partners and the creative talent in the state of Louisiana.
