Emily Hargis

Graphic Designer
Emily Hargis approaches every creative challenge with a sense of balance and organization. As our graphic designer, she understands the nuances of each client’s visual needs and loves making solutions to fit their established brand — or launch something completely new.
Emily graduated from Louisiana State University in 2018, earning her BFA in Studio Art with a concentration in Digital Art, along with dual Digital Media Arts and Engineering minors. Prior to joining the BBR team in 2022, she worked in-house at Pennington Biomedical Research Center and Red Six Media in Baton Rouge, where she earned a silver addy award for her work on ExxonMobil Baytown's 100th Anniversary campaign. Today, Emily leads creative discussions and development within her BBR fixed team. As a creator with more than five years of industry experience, she brings valuable animation and visual skills to the design department. She juggles many responsibilities in her daily work, from researching design trends and staying updated on new techniques to collaborating with clients and coworkers on current projects. Whether it's through motion or style, Emily is always looking for unexpected ways to refresh our approach to advertising and marketing. When she’s not solving design challenges, Emily enjoys painting, playing video games, watching movies and baking sweet treats for her friends. And, of course, no good day is complete without a few couch snuggles from her pup, Mardy.
